How can I dimension my product in 3D?

Insert dimension chain​

The K3 has a dynamisches Modell called "Dimension chain" for this purpose. Add this model to your configurator.

You can now show it in your rules.

  • Create a rule for displaying models or use an existing one.
  • Enter the start and end point of the dimensioning under
    Loading...
    .
  • If you wish, you can also visuell verschieben the dimensioning.

You can enter the following parameters for the dimension chain:

  • Color: of the lines
  • Start and end point You can also perform Berechnungen here.
  • Line thickness
  • Text: Normally, the distance from the start point to the end point is displayed. However, you can select Overwrite automatic measurement and then enter a number yourself. Here you can also perform a Berechnung, e.g. something like Math.round(Sofa.Width) ("Sofa" is a selection characteristic here, "Width" is a Attribut specified by its values).
