How can I color my product?

A common application is the selection of a color for the product or a part of it. With a 3D configurator, you change the color by giving a material of the model a different color. You therefore need to know the materials of the model and which material you want to color.

Requirements​

  • You have a Farbauswahl angelegt
  • The material to be colored has a light texture in the 3D model, preferably white. Otherwise the color change is not visible.

Coloring in a 3D configurator​

  • Switch to
    Loading...
    in the sidebar.
  • Switch to the correct tab and click on the pencil icon behind the color selection.
  • Switch to the Actions tab.
  • Check the box next to Change color
  • and select the material whose color you want to change. All models and all materials are listed in the selection. You can select several materials.
  • Click on
    Loading...
    .

The selected material is now dyed in the color selected in the color selection.

Coloring when using images​

With images, you naturally need one image per color. You simply control the coloring as described in hier.
