Can I also specify which product components are currently available?

It may also be that it is not the customer but the product structure itself that determines which components are available. In the simplest case, imagine a table that can have either 4 legs or 2 side parts. You would like to determine this using the "Substructure" selection. The customer should also not be able to add a 5th table leg.

The solution: Filling component characteristics​

  • In the editor, click on

    in the sidebar
  • Click on
    Loading...
  • Enter a name and optionally a description
  • Click on
    Loading...
  • Click on
    Loading...
  • Check the Fill component characteristics box
  • Select the component list to be filled.
  • The last item in the sidebar is Characteristic combinations. Check the box.
  • Under Characteristics, select all characteristics that determine how the component list is filled.
  • Click on
    Loading...
  • You can now enter the combinations and specify which components are to be added to the component list. You can also enter the number and even have it calculated.
