How can I connect Zapier, for example?
You may want to send the data of a saved configuration to another system. Zapier, for example, is designed to accept, manipulate and forward data to other systems. For example, you can easily enter a configuration as an order in your merchandise management system as an order.
But you can also call up your own interfaces, use make.io or webmethods - the possibilities are endless! the possibilities are not limited!
You can do this simply by entering a so-called "webhook" in K3:
Enter webhook
- Open the editor of your configurator.
- Click on Loading...in the sidebar.
- Click on the pencil icon on the block containing the price and order buttons
- Here you can create and maintain order buttons.
Either use the existing one or click on Loading..., to create a new one and then click on the pencil icon to change it.
- Enter the URL of your interface in the "Webhook" field.
- Click on Loading...
The Zapier example
- Create a new Zap
- start with a
Catch Hook
trigger - You receive a URL from Zapier
- enter this URL in K3 as described above.
- Now the Zap is triggered for each configuration.
What does "Webhook" mean?
If you have entered a URL for an action under Webhook and the user triggers the action by clicking on the corresponding button, by clicking on the corresponding button, the configuration is first saved and its code determined its code is determined.
The configuration is then sent to the URL via POST.
The body of the POST request contains exactly the same data that can be retrieved by a store, s. Shop-API.
Observe the data protection regulations, as the configuration data potentially also contains the customer's personal data personal data of the customer.
