How do I connect my store?

To enable K3 to connect to your store, you need to install a plugin in your store. We offer ready-made plugins for these stores:

• Shopware Version 6
• Woocommerce
• Oxid eSales
• Magento 2
• Prestashop
• Shopify

In the course of time further store systems will be added.

In addition, the K3 offers open interfaces, so you can also program a individuelle Anbindung.

When you connect the plugin to the K3, security tokens are stored on both sides so that communication is protected. The K3 can then read articles from your store, place a finished configuration in the shopping cart and lock the configuration against further changes when a purchase is made.

Connect store and K3

Do you use Shopify? - Take a look at hier.

• Open the editor of your configurator.
• Click on
  Loading...
  in the sidebar.
• Switch to the Shop tab.
• Click on
  Loading...
  for the store system of your choice or directly on "Is installed" for Shopify.
• Install the downloaded plugin in your store.
• Take a look at the plugin options and set them as required.
• Click on
  Loading...
  for the store system of your choice.
• Now enter the web address of the shop (for individueller Anbindung the address of the plugin).
• For Shopify, enter the generated token here.
• Normally, activate Should the articles be imported from the store?.
• Some stores offer the option to combine items into a single order
• Click on
  Loading...
  .
• The import may take a moment. You will then receive a success message.

Create shopping cart button.

The store is now connected to the K3. Next, you must ensure that the correct items end up in the shopping cart. To do this, the K3 keeps a parts list. Read hier to find out how to control this. When you have finished setting up the article rules, continue here:

• Open the editor of your configurator.
• Click on
  Loading...
  in the sidebar.
• Click on the pencil icon on the block containing the price and order buttons
• Here you can create and maintain order buttons. Either use the existing one or click on
  Loading...
  to create a new one.
• Check the Send to shop box
• Usually remove all other checkmarks.
• Click on
  Loading...
• Try out an order: After clicking on the Order button, a summary opens. In the next step, your store opens in a new window and the desired items are in the shopping cart.

When the user clicks on this new shopping cart button, the configuration is placed in the store's shopping cart and the shopping cart is displayed in a new tab.

tip

Opening a new tab may be blocked by the user's browser. We therefore also display a link to the shopping cart in the confirmation.

Programmatic shopping cart connection with iframe

If the configurator is already embedded in an IFrame in the store, opening the shopping cart in a new tab may not be desired new tab may not be desired.

In this case, the configuration can be transferred to the store invisibly for the user.
