How do I create a configurator?

Prerequisites

• You have created a K3 account.
• You know how you want to display your product and in which steps the user should configure it.

Create a configurator from a template

• Log in to your K3 account.
• Select
  Loading...
  in the homepage menu.
• You can now select the template you want to use. The templates available to you also depend on which K3 product you have booked. It makes sense to start with a demo template to try it out for the first time.
• In the following dialog, enter the name and a description for the configurator. You can easily change both later.
• Click on
  Loading...
  .
• You are taken directly to the preview of your configurator and can adjust all aspects of the template here. In particular, you should change the data from the order buttons, i.e. email or store addresses, so that you receive the orders.

Creating a configurator without a template

• Log in to your K3 account.
• Select the "Create new configurator" tab.
• Now choose to create an empty configurator.
• In the following dialog, enter the name and a description for the configurator. You can easily change both later.
• You can also decide here whether you want to display your product in
  • display your product in 3D with models and also want to use augmented reality or
  • Show pictures.
• Click on
  Loading...
  .
• You will be taken directly to the preview of your configurator, which naturally looks quite empty at first.
• Create the first configuration step by clicking on
  Loading...
  .

Next steps

• You can use the two buttons in the middle of the menu bar at the top to view the configurator on a desktop and a mobile device.
• Customize the Design

  to create the first feature.
