Publication
Introduction to the publication
In this video I explain the final step to go live with a fully built configurator. The focus is on how to make the configurator accessible to your customers and integrate it into your website or online store.
Publishing process
First, I will show you how to officially put the configurator online by clicking on the "Publish" button. After confirming the publication, a web address is generated that you can use to integrate the configurator on your website.
Access to the live version
I will explain how you can access the live version of the configurator. As soon as the configurator is published, the link to the live version becomes active, which you can use to access the fully functional version of the configurator directly.
Customization of the start link
This describes how you can change the default link of the configurator to make it more user-friendly and customized to your web address. This step is important to seamlessly integrate the configurator URL into your existing online presence.
Embedding in the website
I will show you how to integrate the configurator into your website or online store using embed codes such as an iFrame. In addition, I explain the technical aspects of this integration, including customizations to ensure that the configurator also works properly in the mobile view.
Management of start configurations
The section covers how you can save start configurations and mark them as "inspirations". This feature makes it possible to receive customers directly with a predefined configuration, which is particularly useful if you want to highlight specific product variants.
Persistence of configuration links
Finally, the benefit of persistent links to specific configurations (inspirations) is highlighted, which will continue to work even after updates to the configurator. This ensures that links that you use in your marketing communication always remain up-to-date and valid.
