Introduction to the ordering process
In this video, I explain how users can actually order their chosen e-bike configuration at the end of the configuration process. This includes an overview of the order button, pricing details and the steps to complete the order.
Order button and customization
To begin, I will show the order button located at the bottom of the screen. This button leads to a detailed overview of the configuration made. I explain how to customize the order button to enable different actions when clicking, such as saving the configuration or sending an order confirmation.
Integration of an order overview
I describe the steps to create an order overview that is displayed to the user at the end of the configuration process. This overview can also include a PDF that is automatically created and sent by email. I show how to set up email notifications that can be sent either to the store owner or directly to the customer.
Integration of online stores Pro
I will also show you how to connect the configurator to an online store. This enables the configuration data to be transferred directly to the store's shopping cart. I explain the procedure for integrating well-known store systems such as Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce and others. This involves installing a plugin that establishes the connection between the configurator and the store.
Customization of communication and documentation
I describe in detail how to personalize the communication between the configurator and the customer, including the customization of email texts and PDF documents. These documents can be automatically generated and attached to the configuration confirmation.
Technical details and conclusion
To conclude the video, I discuss technical aspects of the integration, such as sending JavaScript events that enable seamless interaction between the configurator in the iFrame and the actual store. This improves the user experience by simplifying the transition from configuration to ordering.
