Dealer
Introduction to retailer integration
In this video, I explain how you can also make your configurator accessible to dealers in your sales network. This enables dealers to offer their customers individual products and thus also supports your business.
Create dealer
To begin with, I will show you how to create a new dealer in the system. This involves entering basic data such as the retailer's name and contact information as well as the data for the first user of this retailer. Each retailer is given a unique code, which is important for further processing.
Pricing and access rights
I explain the pricing options that allow you to set specific discounts for merchants. Furthermore, a distinction is made as to whether a dealer has a Pro subscription, which allows him to visually customize the configurator and use it on his own website. Without a Pro subscription, the dealer may only use the configurator in sales meetings.
Registration and configurator access for dealers
After the dealer has logged in, I show that they will not initially see any configurators until you explicitly grant them access. The dealer can change his own address data, but not the code assigned to him or the discount.
Set markup
Retailers have the option to set their own mark-up on the purchase prices. This is usually set so that the products are sold at the same price as in the main store.
Authorizations and configurator access
To grant a retailer access to a configurator, you must set special authorizations in the configurator options. There you can specify that the retailer has access and which specific settings apply to this configurator.
Use of the configurator by the dealer
As soon as the dealer has access, they can use the configurator. If the dealer saves a configuration, this is saved in their dealer configurator and is visible to them. At the same time, this configuration is also displayed in your system and it is noted that this configuration was made by the dealer.
