Select shapes and railing types

Select shapes

First, specify which of the available shapes (I, L inside, L outside, U inside, U outside) you would like to offer in the configuratpr.

  1. To do this, please select 3. select shapes in the Tutorial tab
  2. This click takes you directly to the settings of the "Setup: Shapes - Validity" rule
  3. There you can delete the railing shapes that should not be configurable.
  4. If you want to restore a hidden railing shape later, double-click on Select values in the bottom line and click on the shapes that you want to make configurable again.
tip

The tutorial tab provides quick navigation.
You could also have clicked on the pencil next to the Shape feature in the configurator. Under Values you could then simply delete the shapes that you do not offer via the configurator. However, they are then really gone! You can easily hide individual shapes using the rule described above, but you can also show them again!

Select railing types

Next, select which of the available railing types (glass, bar, railing, perforated plate, without infill) you want to offer in the configurator:

  1. To do this, please select 3. select railing types in the Tutorial tab
  2. This click takes you directly to the settings of the rule "Setup: Railing types - Validity"
  3. There you can delete the railing types that should not be configurable.
  4. If you want to restore a hidden railing type later, double-click on Select values in the bottom line and click on the railing types that you want to make configurable again.
tip

These validity rules can be filled by entering one value (railing type, shape) per line. However, it is also possible to enter several values in one line. Finally, it is also possible to select all values in a rule line at once: simply double-click on "Select value" and instead of clicking on individual values, simply click on "Select all".
