A token is required to access the K3 API. This is normally generated on a session basis in order to be able to work in the admin panel.

If you need permanent access to the API, for example for a store connection or scripts, a permanent token is recommended.

This is usually required as part of Shop-Anbindung. The token is generated automatically.

However, a user can also generate an API token specifically for individual development. To do this, they switch to their profile and activate Developer mode. They can then call up a new API token using the

button.
